Yi Qin Cookery College
was established in 1992; and it was approved to assign the training unit by the Beijing Labour Bureau. Yi Qin Cookery was “the Sole Authorized Organization by the International Cookery Consociation (for both training and authentication), in Asian-Pacific region”. And it was evaluated to be “the International Cookery Training Base”. Also, it was considered to be “the new, originate, and special technical research-and-development training base for International Chinese Cuisine in Asian-Pacific”.
In the last decade, our International Cooking Master, the China Engraving King, the Major Judge of International Chinese Cuisine Cooking Competition of Asian-Pacific, Beijing First-Class Teacher - Master Meng Shuang taught with meticulous, and innovated continuously. Seven books on food engrave had already been written by him, there are 《Art Meal》, 《Art of Sugar Decoration in China》, 《Jinghua Alimentary Paste Modelling》, 《150 Examples of Flower-making for Cake Decoration》, 《Modern Carve for Fruit and Vegetable》, 《Food Carving Art》, and《China Engraving King》.
The school in these years has striven for innovate the principles of teaching from high beginning point by Master Meng Shuang; the high standard teaching had brought up a large number of chefs that had become “the famous teachers and Cooking Star”. It had led the student to attend the “International Cooking Competition”, the “National Cooking Competition”, the “Beijing Cooking Competition”, the “Lu Hua cup” Kitchen Skill Competition by the China Central Television (CCTV), the “Man Han Quan Xi“ Cooking Competition by CCTV, the “Super Food Carving Competition” by CCTV, the “Ba Fang Shen Sheng” by Beijing Television, and the “Challenge the Champion” by Overseas Television. There were all together over one hundred student awarded the prizes. The dominant candidates were seen by the Chairman Hu Jin Tao for the personal interview and praise.
At the beginning
Along with society's unceasing progress and the development, our school is going to be consummate and keep pace with the times, and will guarantee the healthy development of the school; it will train more and better reserve talented chefs for both the country and the society.
We develop, practice and explore unceasingly, summarize the teaching system which is in sole possession of our school, causes in the student can handle a skill in a short-term. Since the school was found, it had send thousands of “Shuang You” persons who have both talent and qualities, to native and overseas. All students were commended by the corporations. After the teaching practice for years, we have cultivated groups of outstanding chefs who distributed all over the country, and the students have represented their own personalities; according to the programs of instruction and the teaching rules, we use the regular teaching methods, and hire the excellent professional, and have restrict practices for students, also require them to taking tests frequently. We hope the students can learn the methods from the lessons and, find out the rules.
Since Yi Qin Cookery College has been built up, it has focused on how to cultivate students’ technical ability and the real living skill. It persists the “cultivate one student and let him become one expert; then arrange a porper position for him” idea, it is the reason why our school has been concerned and received high recommendations from different societies. And also our school plays an important role on cultivating the younger teachers, by asking each senior teacher lead one young teacher as the assistant. The senior teacher will give the lectures on the stage, and the younger teacher will be the demonstrator who is directly telling student what to do step by step while practicing. According to using this kind of method, everyone in class can compare with each other during the theory studying and the practicals. Consequently, all of these are good for both student and young teacher training, and it will probably carry them get closer to their target.
Reward praises in 2006
Yi Qin Cookery has been developed by everyone that hard worked in there. It becomes “the Sole Authorized Organization by the International Cookery Consociation (for both training and authentication), in Asian-Pacific region”. And it was evaluated to be “the International Cookery Training Base”. Also, it was considered to be “the new, originate, and special technical research-and-development training base for International Chinese Cuisine in Asian-Pacific”. In November, 2006, “International Yi Qin Food and Drink Cultural Exchange Center” was successful found in Melbourne, Australia, and it will formally open in May, 2007. At the appointed time, the Chinese Lecturer Group will be led by the International Cooking Master Mr. Meng Shuang to go for teaching, in order to propagating the culture of Chinese cuisine, and magnifying the millenniums Chinese cuisine’s again. Meanwhile, Yi Qin is helping and managing lots of Chinese restaurants in Australia, some of those have over 25-year-brand restaurants.

  我校创办于1992年,是北京市劳动局核准的指定培训单位,我校是“国际烹饪联合会亚太地区(培训、认证)独家授权机构”并被评为“国际烹饪联合会培训基地”。亚太地区“国际中餐新、奇、特技术研发培训基地”。
办学十年来由国际烹饪大师、中国雕王、国际中餐烹饪大赛亚太地区总裁判长、北京市优秀教师孟爽先生亲自精心传授不断创新。曾先后编写了“《工艺名菜》、《中华糖艺》、《京华面塑》、《蛋糕裱花150例》、《新派果蔬雕》、《工艺食雕》、《中国雕王》等七部烹饪专著。
办学多年来,凭着孟爽大师求实创新的教学方针高起点办学、高标准教学培养了大批烹饪“名师、新秀、明星”曾带领学员参加了多次“国际烹饪大赛”、“全国烹饪大赛”、“北京市烹饪大赛”、中央电视台“鲁花杯”厨艺大赛、中央电视台“满汉全席”擂台赛、中央电视台“食雕超人大比拼”、北京电视台“八方食圣”、海外电视台“挑战第一等”曾获奖学员百余人。更优秀者授到国家主席的亲自接见并表彰。

草创之初

  我校在十年的努力之下,成为了今天的国际烹饪联合会亚太地区(培训、认证)独家授权机构,并被评为“国际烹饪联合会培训基地”。亚太地区“国际中餐新、奇、特技术研发培训基地”。2006年11月在澳大利亚墨尔本成功创办"国际艺沁饮食文化交流中心",将于2007年5月正式揭牌,届时由国际烹饪大师孟爽先生率中国讲师团前往任教.宏扬中华饮食文化,再塑千年古国饮食辉煌.同时成功协助澳方开办,管理多个中餐酒楼,其中有风靡澳洲25年的品牌餐饮店.
